Olá! I’m Aishwarya, a PhD scholar at University of Warwick and Nova University, Lisbon. I am a graduate of JNU, New Delhi in field of Arts & Aesthetics and Theatre & Performance Studies. I was trained as a journalist in Bachelors in Mass Media from Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai. Born in Pune, lived in Mumbai and Delhi for extensive periods, I am currently stationed in United Kingdom/Potugal. My areas of interest include performance studies, history and memory, cultural processes, heritage studies, and politics of caste. I write, perform and direct plays and my recent production is titled Death of an Antinational (2019).
